Midgley wins Markinch

Pipers Derek Midgley and Keith Bowes were both in the prizes today at the Markinch Games in Fife. Taking a first in the Piobaireachd playing “The Vaunting” and a fourth in the MSR, Derek Midgley won the overall prize. Keith Bowes placed second in the Piobaireachd event and played “MacDonald of Kinlochmoidart’s Lament No. 1” .
