On Saturday 24th October, at the Glasgow Caledonian University, Leading Drummer of ScottishPower pipe band, Barry Wilson and several other members of the drum corps, competed at the World Solo Drumming Championships.
After a good run in the semi finals and two excellent performances in the final, Barry was crowned World Solo Drumming Champion 2009 making it his third consecutive win by gaining most aggregate points over the March, Strathspey & Reel and Hornpipe & Jig events. Congratulations to Barry from all at ScottishPower Pipe Band.
