The band took to the streets of Dumfries on Sunday 22nd January to participate in the ‘Big Burns Supper Carnival Parade.’ This event now in its 5th year was watched by thousands of people who lined the streets cheering the many lantern carriers, decorated floats and the numerous local community and school groups who all dressed up and toured around the town centre. The parade came to an end in the Whitecraigs area of the town where a huge fireworks display marked the finale.
The ‘Big Burns Supper’ is dubbed the biggest Burns festival in the world and runs for 10 days offering an array of music, theatre and comedy all over Dumfries.
Many thanks to Ronnie Galloway for taking some pictures.
