Piping Live! is a nine-day festival packed full of world-class performances, music sessions, recitals, competitions, book launches, workshops and so much more.
Pipe Major and Leading Drummer take to that stage and perform in public for the first time in over 18 months. The evening was made up of a mix of pipe band quartets performing MSR and Medley sets, and then piper/drummer combos to showcase their pipe band music. There were quartets from
- Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia
- Johnstone Pipe Band
- Inveraray and District
and piper/drummer duos of
- P/M Chris Armstrong and L/D Jake Jorgenson from ScottishPower
- P/S Calum Watson and one of the drum corps from Boghall and Bathgate.
With this line up, Piping Live! brought the best of Pipe Band music to the stage in the best way possible within the COVID guidelines.
