ScottishPower Pipe Band were delighted to have been involved in this great community event which was all about encouraging and inspiring youngsters to take up and learn more about our art.
Over 250 young pipers, drummers and parents turned out to watch the band play in concert to end the week long summer school that was also filled with spots from the tutors and staff that taught throughout the week.
The band were on top form and played through all their competition pieces for the up and coming World Championship, as well as some of the classic concert pieces they played at Glasgow’s Royal Concert hall last year.
The band would like to thank schools tutor Gordon Bruce for giving us this opportunity and wish him every success for the future with these kids.
