On Saturday the 24th of July, the Airth games saw both ScottishPower and its competing soloists win the band competition and all solo events, respectively.
The first event in the morning was the senior Piobaireachd, which was won by P/M Chris Armstong. The senior MSR event was next and was won by Craig Muirhead with David Wilton taking fourth. The senior Hornpipe and Jig was swept by ScottishPower soloists as it was was won by Mael Sicard-Cras, then Craig Muirhead taking second, Chris Armstrong taking third, and David Wilton taking fourth.
The band then played its number one MSR, the Lord Alexander Kennedy set, which won the day in Grade 1.
