On Tuesday the 20th of July, ScottishPower Pipers were out in full force in all grades. In the A grade, David Wilton took 4th in the Piobaireachd, and won both the B grade March and Strathspey/Reel competitions.
Other notables in the B grade March were Chris Gibb with a 2nd, Struan Thorpe with a 4th, and Keith Bowes with a 5th. In the Strathspey/Reel, after David it was Gavin Ferguson in 2nd, Derek Midgley in 3rd, and Keith Bowes in 6th.
Keith also won the B Piobaireachd, with Chris Gibb in 6th. In the C grade it was Gavin Ferguson who took 5th in the Piobaireachd and Neil Johnston who took 6th in the Strathspey/Reel.
