ScottishPower Pipe Band News

On Saturday 17th September the band were out supporting the thousands of female runners participating in this year’s Cancer Research UK, Race for Life – Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course, held in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

Scattered over the course they played to boost the runners as they made their way around and to help ScottishPower reach their target fundraising figure of £10m for this great charity. The band are proud to have been involved in supporting these events since the start.

Well done to all the ladies that ran and took part on the day. If you would like to get involved and give it a go next year, please visit the CRUK Race for Life website for more details.  The band will be there to play you on!!
