The Pipe Band Magazine - January 2012

26/01/2012

For the second time in a year personnel from the ScottishPower Pipe Band have featured and claimed the front page of the Pipe Band Magazine.

The latest edition has a spotlight feature on the band’s Pipe Sergeant Donald Mackay, giving a full interview and showing photographs from his piping career to date.

Published by PP Publishing in Glasgow, the magazine is an official magazine of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.

Published quarterly, 'Pipe Band' is the magazine which keeps members and all pipe band enthusiasts up to speed with developments in the world's leading pipe band organisation.

Every copy purchased helps support the finances of the RSPBA which in turn ensures the smooth running and the future of the organisation. Each issue includes features on the leading personalities on the judges panel, in administration and, of course, on pipers and drummers themselves.

The magazine offers a comprehensive results service and an accurate and reliable Diary of competitions. Our 'All Our Yesterdays' feature looks back at band of yesteryear and highlights the top names of past eras.

The magazine has a current readership of more than 3000 quarterly and is shipped all over the world. The magazine also offers advertisements for interested manufacturers and suppliers.
